DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF SALT AND PEPPER ARE FATTENING?

Okay, anybody have any thoughts on this?

In the morning I take 1 equate women's one daily high potency multimineral supplement, 1 total lean before breakfast and after lunch (GNC-supposed to boost energy and metabolism), and before each meal I take a chitosan which is the "all natural fat blocker from the sea blocks fat from the foods you enjoy.

None of these seem to be doing me any good whatsoever.

BREAKFAST: GREEN APPLE, HALF BAGEL W/FAT FREE CREAM CHEESE

4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb.)
4 tsp. TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Taco Seasoning Mix
2 cups thinly sliced peeled potatoes
1 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Cheese
1/2 cup TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Garden Salsa
1/4 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Sprinkle chicken evenly with seasoning mix. Place 1/2 cup of the potatoes on center of each of 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil; top each with 1 chicken breast, 1/4 cup of the cheese and 2 Tbsp. of the salsa.
BRING up foil sides. Double fold top and both ends to seal each packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Place in single layer in 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender. Remove packets from oven. Let stand 5 min. Place 1 packet on each of 4 dinner plates. Cut slits in foil with sharp knife to release steam before opening. Top each serving with 1 Tbsp. of the sour cream.

So, I started this diet when I decided to become and aspiring cook.  Fancy that?!?  These are not low fat really at all.  So, I just had a few bites and a salad.  My boyfriend is not picky at all and he said that they were not very good.  They were really good to me, only because my lunch came out of a box! 

So, other than 1 wine cooler, the only think I drank was water!!!!!!  I am very proud of myself for that! 

Exercise: 20 minute winsor pilates, 120 sit ups, and some other little exercises I made up!!  I felt the burn, and I am no longer sore from tennis!

Chili Parmesan Chicken

1/4 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 tsp. chili powder
6 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves ( 1-1/2 lbs.)

MIX cheese and chili powder in pie plate. Add chicken; turn to evenly coat all sides.
PLACE chicken in a shallow baking dish.
BAKE at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

EXERCISE: WENT JOGGING AROUND MY APARTMENT COMPLEX, 60 SIT UPS, PLAYED TENNIS FOR 1 HOUR

SO, I HAD A HUGE GET TOGETHER SAT NIGHT.  LOTS OF PEEPS.  I HAD A LOT OF DRINKS, AND ATE SNACK FOOD. :(  I THINK I MAY HAVE WORKED OUT ENOUGH DURNING THE DAY BUT STILL!!!!

 

FRIDAY 1-6-05

BREAKFAST: FAT FREE YOGURT, HALF OF A GRAHM CRACKER

SNACK: BEEF JERKEY

LUNCH: HEALTHY CHOICE, DIET COKE

DINNER:  PANERA BREAD!  IT WAS GOOD....KIND OF.  WE ENDED UP WAITING FOR OUR FOOD FOR 3O MINUTES SO MY BOYFRIEND WEND UP THERE, WE GOT OUR FOOD AND OUR MONEY BACK! 

I WENT TO A FRIENDS LAST NIGHT AND DRANK 5 WINE COOLERS.  YUMMY YUMMY.

SO, MY BOYFRIEND JUST RECENTLY GOT PULLED OVER AND GOT A DUI.  HE HAS TO ATTEND AND DRUG AND ALCOHOL CLASS ONCE A WEEK, AND AN AA MEETING ONCE A WEEK.  NOW I HAVE A SOBER DRIVER!  HAHA.

EXERCISE: NONE!  (I THINK THE BREAD WAS SO HARD A PANERA I BURNED ENOUGH CALORIES JUST EATING!!!!)

OK...SO MY BOSS KNOWS I AM ON THIS DIET.  SHE KNOWS I HAVE A HEALTHY CHOICE SITTING IN THE FREEZER.  SHE CAME UP AND ASKED ME IF I WOULD GO GET LUNCH.  ASKED ME WHERE WE SHOULD EAT TODAY.  WHAT DO I DO?  DO I GO GET HER LUNCH, AND COME BACK AND EAT MINE?

BREAKFAST: 1 BANANA, HANDFULL OF GRAPES

LUNCH: WEIGHT WATCHERS MEAL (THOSE THINGS ACTUALLY FILL ME UP NOW!) AND A HALF CAN OF DIET COKE (I COULDNT FINISH IT ALL!!!!!)

DINNER: ZESTY ITALIAN CHICKEN....IT TURNED OUT OKAY...KIND OF DRY BECAUSE THE ONLY SAUCE FOR THE PASTA IS A HALF CUP OF FAT FREE ZESTY ITALIAN DRESSING.  HERE IS THE RECIPE FOR ANYBODY INTERESTED:

 

Zesty Chicken and Pasta

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped
1/2 cup KRAFT LIGHT DONE RIGHT! House Italian Reduced Fat Dressing, divided
2 cups broccoli florets
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 large red pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 pkg. (8 oz.) pasta, cooked as directed on pkg., drained
1/4 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese

COOK and stir chicken in 1/4 cup of the dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat 4 min. or until no longer pink.
ADD broccoli, onion, red pepper and parsley; cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
TOSS with pasta and remaining 1/4 cup dressing. Sprinkle with cheese.

THEN I MADE DESERT.....FAT FREE YOGURT, BANANAS AND GRAHM CRACKERS ALL MIXED UP!  I COULD ONLY TAKE TWO BITES, THEN I WAS FULL.  MY BOYFRIEND ATE IT ALL UP THOUGH!

EXERCISE: 60 SITUPS, 60 LEG LIFTS

SO, MY BOYFRIEND IS TAKING ME OUT TO PANERA BREAD TO CELEBRATE SUCH A GOOD WEEK.  (OF COURSE THEY HAVE A LOW FAT MENU!)

A FRESH START

MY NEW YEARS RESOLUTION WAS TO LOOK LIKE HOW I DO IN THAT PICTURE ONCE AGAIN. I AM GOING TO BLOG EACH DAY WHAT I CONSUME, AND HOW MUCH I EXERCISE.

DINNER: 6 INCH TURKEY ON WHITE FROM SUBWAY, 1/2 CUP CHIPS, HALF CAN DIET COKE

EXERCISE: I WENT OVER TO MY MOMS TO VISIT MY LITTLE BRO AND SIS-THEY ARE TWINS AND THEY ARE 10 YEARS OLD, ANYWAY, I RAN AROUND THE BLOCK 3 TIMES WITH THEM. ISNT THAT A MILE?
